By becoming a member of Gladiator Kabaddi Club (GKC) and completing a purchase on this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Membership
Membership is open to all individuals who agree to abide by GKC’s rules and code of conduct. Membership is personal and non-transferable. GKC reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership at its discretion.
2. Annual Membership — Payment & Auto-Renewal
Annual membership ($20/year) is collected via Direct Debit through GoCardless. By completing checkout you authorise GKC to debit $20 annually from your nominated bank account on or around your membership anniversary date. You may cancel your Direct Debit mandate at any time by contacting us at admin@gladiatorkabaddiclub.com.au or 0477 032 032. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund of the current year’s fee.
3. Lifetime Membership — Payment
Lifetime membership ($200, one-off) is processed securely via WooPayments (Stripe) and grants membership for the lifetime of the club. This payment is non-refundable once processed.
4. Refunds
Membership fees are non-refundable once a membership period has commenced. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 7 days at admin@gladiatorkabaddiclub.com.au.
5. Data Collection & Storage
When you purchase a membership or register on this website, we collect the following personal information:
- Name and contact details (email address, phone number, mailing address)
- Payment information — card/bank details are processed and stored securely by Stripe (WooPayments) and GoCardless. GKC does not store your full card or bank account number on our servers.
- Membership records — membership type, start date, renewal history
- Website usage data — browser type, IP address, pages visited (via standard WordPress and WooCommerce logging)
Your data is stored securely on Hostinger servers located in Australia/EU and is retained for as long as your membership is active plus 7 years for financial record-keeping requirements. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing admin@gladiatorkabaddiclub.com.au.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as required to process payments (Stripe, GoCardless) or as required by Australian law.
6. Cookies
This website uses cookies to manage your shopping session, remember login details, and analyse website traffic. By continuing to use this site you consent to our use of cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect website functionality.
7. Code of Conduct
All members are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow members, coaches, referees, and the public at all times. GKC has a zero-tolerance policy toward discrimination, harassment, or violence. Breaches may result in immediate membership cancellation without refund.
8. Photography & Media
GKC may photograph or film members during club events for promotional and social media use. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the committee. By attending events, members implicitly consent to incidental inclusion in group photographs.
9. Liability
Participation in kabaddi and all club activities carries inherent physical risks. GKC takes all reasonable precautions to ensure member safety. Members participate at their own risk and acknowledge that GKC is not liable for injuries sustained during club activities where reasonable care has been taken.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.
11. Amendments
GKC may update these terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes by email. Continued membership after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
